Her ambitions were fueled by a steady diet of Star Trek and Star Wars fiction. An avid reader, she can't get enough of science fiction authors Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Larry Niven, James S. A. Corey, Andy Weir ... you get the idea. Retired in 2020 from a longtime career as a newspaper reporter and photographer, she embarked on a new focus as the author of science-fiction novels.
